Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Edmond Sze attended the University of Waterloo and received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 2007. After working as an electrical engineer, he turned his attention to healthcare and returned to Winnipeg to study dentistry at the University of Manitoba.
Upon graduation from the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Sze received the Dr. Edgar N. Cole Memorial Scholarship Award for achieving the highest standing in Pain and Anxiety Control. He also received the Certificate of Merit AAPD Pre-Doctoral Student Award for his performance in the field of dentistry for children.
Experience Focused on Patient Comfort
Dr. Sze enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in dental surgery, tooth extractions, dental implants, dentures and procedures involving moderate sedation. His education in pain and anxiety control helps guide a calm and thoughtful approach for patients who may feel nervous about dental treatment.
Committed to improving dental care throughout the community, Dr. Sze has also volunteered at The Ottawa Mission, providing dental services to people in need.
